you know when the feeling of melancholy (i love this word!) gets to you. well, some people eat, some go stir crazy, some just dont do anyhting, but i shop. doesnt have to be proper retail theraphy. i can shop at Foodtown and come back better.

well, on monday night, i was at uni ALL DAY and finally came home.. in a shitty mood. while sitting on a wet smelly bus, i started thinking about how pathetic it is to still be at uni, and the foul weather, the smelly people on the bus and so on. so trudging back to the apartment with it still pissing around me, i became gloomier and gloomier.

after doing my chores, i decided a trip to Foodtown would help. and it did. (ok, i spent about $130 on groceries and things i may not have needed like a hair dye kit, but it helped!!) and i came back home in a slightly better mood. and i also like listening to REALLY sad songs. i figure, if the lyrics are bad enough, it would snap me out of it? yes? no? well, to each his own. i like to think that someone out there felt the exact same thing i am feeling but was obviouly more creative then i am and wrote a song about it. its therapeutic.

ok so, i have a major addiction. its them box sets. all the box sets. i dont know if box sets are so readily available anywhere else. but my video store has tons and tons. well, they could do with more, but im happy with the collection at the moment. to date, i have seen

SAC was ages ago, but it took me a LONG time to finish 10 seasons!! my fav was McLeods daughters and One Tree Hill. im now waiting for the One Tree Hill 3rd season and Hotel Babylon 2nd season. sigh!! but im quite fussy. i dont like smallville, 24, alias, joey, friends, and other weird stuff. heh. i like blockbuster/easy on the mind/crap series. yes i know. what a PLASTIC! however, my own real life soap opera has come to become a complete circle. oh and i watch alot of TV too. my nightime revolves around TV. actually the entire household revolves around it. its all planned out as well. our VCR works over time. currently, the household is into

and no, we are not pathetic! we just REALLY like our Tv series'.

time for some gossip! 

someone (whom i cannot name for obvious reasons, sorry audz) kinda likes this guy. lets call him E. now, E plays mind games. who likes that, honestly. its pathetic. anyways, the girl, (ahhh, lets call her G) ok. G likes him, he apparently likes her too. so whats the problem. well, like any bad high school teenage thing, there is ALWAYS drama! so he plays these weird games, or so she tells me. like he will call non stop, then stop. and she'll PURPOSELY bring up other boys, to see if he'll react. or he'll ignore her to see if she'll make the first move. FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!

ok, fast-forward 3 weeks. (yes people, i had to listen, cos i am a good friend, and cos i am jo and i like drama, as long as its not my drama) she has realised that even though he plays his stupid mind games and she plays her mind games, they both are who they are and they both have to finally get it out in the open cos.. deng deng dennnggg!! (yes, bad sound effect i know) THERE IS ANOTHER GIRL IN THE PICTURE!! i knowww! i freaked too! ok. so this girl, lets call her P.

apparently, there is no concrete proof that P likes E, but G reckons that there are sure signs. (for privacy reasons, i cant go into the sure signs) but trust me. its SURE signs! so now, G has decided that she better make the move, cos she might lose the ever prevailing game in the mad world of dating. (dont you just love drama) wait, there's more. to add salt and pepper, now other boys are calling. yes, throw in more A, B and C's. alamak i tell you. so whats a girl to do??

i love drama...... NOT!

now this is why i watch box sets, and hole up in my room watching drama series's ALL DAY/NIGHT long! honest. (and regardless of what everyone thinks about me loving the drama, sometimes its frustrating. but part of me loves to listen and get involve!)
