yes, its busy busy busy time. xmas is coming (have you done your shopping??) and then i have Wine Club meeting, trademe stuff to send off and best of all, more bookings for Casa de Lilly and of course, more business ventures to look into. its all pouring in. but its all Labour weekend that just passed and hence there has been a short hiatus. but will be back with more piccies and more newsy stuff..

now im gonna do tons of laundry, online research and shopping. urgh. will do the pics soon. (if your a facebook friend of mine, muahahah, just check my photo album there.. :) if your not, be patient and WAIT!)

im off to bed cos its late and i have a ton of shtings to do tomorrow..

i noticed, sometimes we live in either suprb mess OR organiszed chaos. last night was the latter. why? cos not only was THE grad pissed, stinkin' drunk, but she was SUPER pissed stinkin' drunk..

anyways, Miss Goldfish graduated on Friday, but i was at work, and she took one too many pictures of herself and Tania while they were on the Shore. (see her Facebook for those)

she then organised (haha) to have drinks at Brooklyn, which was nice and cosy and then the REAL party started at Sixth Sense at around 1am. OMG! pictures tell the story better i reckon..

this week is a killer week. with al the assignments due, as well as it being the 2nd last week of uni.. (forever for me!! woohoo) mannn.. i just need a break.. i need to get away.. AGAIN!!!!

oh, talking about nye plans, i was thinking BBQ and lazy sunday styled celebration. of course, it being MY party, drinks are aplenty and free flow bar. but maybe i'll try get a bartender to be around, so we get the whole cocktail thingy going without me having to be behind the bar the whole time.. i wont be doing a christmas do, cos my parents are here. or maybe i'll do a mini one. for those without family here.. there are a few eh.. lol

sigh. back to political policy reports and more.. sigh.

in the past 2 days, i have seen two absolutely FAB!!! films (or movies if you would!). i really enjoy going to the movies, just never have time and people go when i cant go.. so on sunday, ferren and i decided in the last minute to catch Stardust at St Lukes. i was up early to have yum cha with ann nee and gang, which was nice and gossipy!! heh.

Stardust was not really what i expected. i heard some fell asleep watching it at the cinema and iheard its cliche, so-so. but i really enjoyed it. sure, it was lame and abit much in some parts, but its a fairytale. and its supposed to be a ROMANTIC fairytale. but i enjoyed the subtle humour (like the blueblood when the witch sliced his neck!!!) and i thought the guy was hot. ferren said the longer you look at him, he is kinda hot. in the beginning, obviously he's playing a turd, but after a while, he grows on you. (dont they always??) and i loved the posters they had outside the cinemas. lol.

and then, on monday night, we AGAIN decided to catch another movie but in town. went by IMAX, and met Daniel T unexpectedly. and he kindly offered us comp tickets. so we watched Hairspray for FREE!!! and it was so worth it. (well, what is not worth it when it is free??) but yes, it was funny, amusing and so entertaining!! if you havent see it, i fully recommend going, without any expectations of course and you'll be SPRAYED away!!! (lol)

ferren thought the main dude (Zac Efron) was hot and i was like!!! man, he's the guy in HSM la!! i told you how many times!! (i like High School Musical, might as well admit it now right??) and she was like ohhhh, ya, he's hot! she can be kinda gold-fish like sometimes. anyways, we enjoyed it, although i had no idea what the storyline was, and neither did ferren, but we got into the gist soon enough!! its so good that im humming GOOD MORNING BALTIMOREEEE on the way to work!

apart from that, my business may expand soon. well, maybe that or i may just expand in different directions. fickle fickle! i need fresh ideas. i need my thinking cap. i need something. i need a quick shot of something.. anything!

so yes, time is tick tocking, xmas is coming, i need to plan my summer or it'll pass me by. any plans for NYE people?? im thinking themed party. yea? who's in Auckland?

p/s WATCH HAIRSPRAY!!!!!! you wont regret (unless you have something against musicals, then sigh, you already are a gone case la!)

i helped organise this month's (ok, i mean last month) Ponsonby Market Day. it was fun, tiring and weird. fun because i spent the day mucking aorund the store with the usual crew. tiring, cos i still technically HAD to work. means standing outside, selling, handing out vouchers and so on. weird cos i realised that Ponsonby is Hippie zone, and there were so many 'arty-farties' walking around. hmm.. and there was cheapo stuff in the shops, it was just a matter of getting out and digging through. i managed to buy a bag, make up (50% off) and some FUDGE hair products for $5. wheeeeeeee

but overall, it was worth the effort and time we all put in. but the 1 hour nap i took was so worth it. cos i was out of the house by 10 to have a quick supper at Skycity, and to play a lil Baccarat. it was a fruitful night.

maybe festivals are my thing. i enjoy the quick adrenalin and high pressure moments, where you have a sudden 'rush' and the internal communication between team members. maybe im just meant for hospitality. heh.

now the week of hell has started. everything due. work is full on (cos summer is coming, argh!!), people arriving for summer holidays soon, have to SPRING CLEAN literally, christmas planning, NYE planning. sigh. the year is ending and im not ready!!

nette's birthday pictures. i am too tired (and lazy) to go on and on about it. it was at annabelle's in St Helliers. food was not that great. place was nice. wine was yums! but that was it. marc and his girl bought nette a cake, so we kept our WHISKEY CHOCOLATE cake from ROCKET KITCHEN and had it at home. ken made cocktails. rob and i had lotsa lotsa cake. (rob liked it so much, she bought the same cake for Sarah's birhtday on the 25th!!)

yes, nette-girl you are 23. no more baby-ing (not that we ever did) but now you stand on your own two feet (oh wait, you've been doing that) well well well, what are you gonna do now??

quick update, nette-girl (we actually never call her girl.. its so weird!) is 23 as of yesterday. i remember her as a kid. the infamous 'chuka' incident (it's a family joke) and her crying when mum or dad yelled at jay and i. i remember when i realised nette had grown up when she started having boys call the house phone (and then MY PHONE calls stopped.) i remember nette being part of the 'spice girl' group at church. hahahahah. i remeber nette telling me about her first kiss. i remeber fighting with nette about the most mundane things like leving the light on and making noise in the morning. i remember listening to nette sleep talk about me and jay. hahahahahahaha (that was funny!) but what i know best about her, nette is the tough one out of 3 of us. she's the 'im not scared' sibling. shes also as stubborn as i am and as street smart as jay (more so then jay i think)

there are times when i want to just scream at nette (more often then not, i do!) but sometimes i just look at nette and see all the Chin/Chan bits in her. the thrifty, artistic, lazy, quick wit, kind hearted, attention-seeking, generous and gift of gab that makes us Chinny's unforgettable. hahaha.

here's to your 23rd birthday. here's to the great year you had. here's to having a good party this weekend! (you shouting right??)

im super tired. ive never really been this tired. work tonight was a killer. i guess no one really expected so many people to want takeaways on a sunday night you know.. but it was good for boss im assuming. (which reminds me, i should have left a note for him.. ah well. too late now)

over the weekend, i tried to kill all the birds (i mean friends) with one stone.

Jase turned 27 on friday night. so a few of the whanau (thats family in Maori) went to Skycity to semi surprise him. i forgot he was not in the loop and texted him asking where they were. ah well. i also mentioned inadvertently to Em that he liked the same show-thingy i liked (im not THAT stupid to write it here, are you crazy!!) and she teased him mercilessly. but he played the dumb card well.. lol.

then on sat, had catch up dinner with CJ (which was supposed to be with a few other people, but everyone was apparently too busy for me) and it was fantastic. I have found a friend with the same dream. CJ is looking at starting something up soon, i cannot wait. maybe its a sign you know. sigh.. so exciting.. everyone having their little thingys in life. im so amped somehow..

then met up with Fen (who's here in Auckland on holiday. she used to live here, was my first friend in Auckland, our parents are friends and we hung out during high school) and her friends. then we brought her dancing, which was quite a new thing for me, seeing as i NEVER go dancing. im usually the first one to leave and be in bed by 2am. but it was fun. most of the crew came out, Jase and Jase (Jason is here from Canterbury for hols as well..) and Jonno and Em and a few others. it was good fun all around.

so, with all the birds getting killed on Fri and Sat, i died-ed on Sun. i think my battery needs major re-charging. that and im getting abit aunty la!

so, its already Mon, and before i know it, it'll be Friday again.. yohhhhhhhhh

i need sleep. and im still facebook-ing. hehe.
